A shawl is no small project. It is a serious commitment. Knowing how much time will be spent with a pattern when making a shawl, one does not pick a pattern lightly.
I want to make myself a shawl for my wedding this summer and I'm in the process finding a pattern that I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time with. Here is one of my picks. It's called the Elizabeth Shawl by Dee O'Keefe. It's a square shawl and I think it's stunning! As much as I love the green, I think I would stick to traditional white.
