I'm happy to report I only have three projects current on the needles.

The first project is Colour Affection in worsted weight yarn. I dove into my stash for this one and was pleasantly surprised to have the required yardage in each colour. I'm so happy how it's coming out. It's going to large and squishy and amazing. I have, however, put it on the back burner because it's a awful lot of garter stitch... hopefully I can finish it up soon

Project #2 is for Summer Knit Camp! Participants will be learning to knit by making a sunglasses/beach treasure bag. We will be learning to cast on, knit and purl stitches, button holes, decreasing (left and right leaning), cast off and seaming! All of that knitting goodness is only $25!

I'm hoping to have time for a duplicate stitch tutorial to really fancy it up but if that doesn't happen I will at lease have an online tutorial available on out knitting resources board on pinterest.

If you're interested in Summer Knit Camp, please contact us to save your spot!

Finally my gloves.

I am so in love with this gloves. The cliche "fits like a glove" does not even begin to relay my love. They are a Drops Design Glove and although the pattern was written to sell yarn it isn't too bad to follow.

I originally planned to make them for a friend and found some alpaca (locally grown) in my stash. But once I started knitting them and trying them on as I went along, I knew I had to keep them. Don't worry, my friend will be getting another gift but now I'm thinking Honey Cowl. Hopefully I won't want to keep that one too!

Emily and I had a great time yesterday at the Elizabeth Fry Society - Empowering Change Craftacular! We are so grateful to have been in the same room with so many creative and empowered women.

There were so many awesome vendors and we had so much fun talking to people about knitting! We're hoping to get some soon-to-be-knitters signed up for our Summer Knit Camp!

It was a wonderful way to spend a sunny spring Saturday!
